Josh Edwards will join the Buncombe County leadership team as Assistant County Manager beginning November 2.

“Josh comes to Buncombe County with proven leadership experience having led a large team through improvements in operations, project management, and local government finance,” said Pinder. “We are excited to have him hit the ground running as part of our dynamic team, which is also led by Assistant County Managers Sybil Tate and Tim Love." 

Edwards will manage the Access and Human Affairs, City/County ID Bureau, Communications & Public Engagement, Emergency Services, Permits & Inspections, Planning, and Public Safety Communications (911) departments.
