Pisgah Electrical Services Relocates from Buncombe County to Haywood

Pisgah Electrical Services will relocate its Western North Carolina headquarters from Buncombe County to Haywood County. The new campus will include office, warehouse,  and dedicated training space, giving Pisgah room to support continued growth across Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina while investing more deeply in the county where the Ashe family and many members of the team have longstanding roots.

“This is much bigger than moving into a new building,” said Chris Ashe, CEO of Pisgah Electrical Services. “Haywood County is home. It’s where our family is from, where we raised our children and where so many of the people on our team live. To build the next chapter of Pisgah here means a great deal to us.”

Pisgah Electrical has grown from a local electrical service company into a multi-market electrical contractor serving residential construction, commercial facilities and complex industrial projects throughout the region. That growth has also created a growing need for something the company considers essential to its future: training. A dedicated training facility will be a central part of the new Haywood County campus, giving Pisgah Electrical additional space to develop apprentices, strengthen technical skills, support leadership development and create clearer career pathways within the electrical trade.

“For us, growth is not simply about adding trucks or taking on more projects,” Ashe said. “It’s about developing people. We want someone to be able to come to Pisgah, learn a skilled trade, build a career, become a leader and create a better future for their family. This facility gives us room to keep building that.”

The move represents a long-term commitment to the county Pisgah Electrical has served for decades. As Haywood County continues working to strengthen and diversify its economy, the addition of growing locally rooted businesses creates new opportunities for jobs, workforce development and future investment. Pisgah Electrical’s planned campus will include:
  • A new company office and headquarters space
  • Expanded warehouse and operational capacity
  • A dedicated electrical training facility
  • Space to support workforce and leadership development
  • Infrastructure to accommodate continued company growth
The move will also bring Pisgah Electrical closer to many of the employees, customers and communities that have been part of the company’s story from the beginning.

“We’re proud of how far Pisgah has come, but we’re even more excited about what this makes possible next,” Ashe said. “More jobs. More training. More opportunities for people to build careers in the trades. And more investment right here in Western North Carolina.”
