Hall of Fame Coach Roy Williams Headlines Asheville Business Event

The Wake Forest University Center for Private Business (CPB) presents "Building Something That Endures: Roy Williams on Teams, Talent, and Leadership" — a moderated conversation with three-time national championship coach Roy Williams on September 10. Williams will draw on more than three decades of building winning programs to talk about recruiting talent, sustaining culture, and leading through transition — themes that translate directly to family-owned and privately held businesses.

Coach Roy Williams, Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, is a native of Western North Carolina raised in Asheville, and former head coach at the University of North Carolina and the University of Kansas.

WHY IT MATTERS: Western North Carolina's privately held businesses are still rebuilding workforces and leadership benches in the wake of Hurricane Helene. CPB brings industry leaders, research, and peer networks to those owners. This event puts one of the state's best-known team builders in front of a regional business audience in his hometown.

TICKETS: Open to the public, starting at $35.
