Businesses of all sizes and industries across Western North Carolina are encouraged to respond to a collaborative survey facilitated by Riverbird Research on the impacts of Hurricane Helene on their business.

This survey is the third of three in a series conducted to better understand business conditions in Western North Carolina a year and a half after the storm.

Any business with a presence in Western North Carolina can take the survey. This includes businesses in any industry and of all sizes (from solopreneurs to national/international companies with operations in WNC. All organizations are encouraged to take the survey, whether still recovering, fully recovered, minimally affected, or no longer operating.

“Your business perspective plays an important role in helping shape how recovery efforts and regional decisions move forward,” said Heidi Reiber, Senior Director of Research at Riverbird Research, a division of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce.

This collaborative survey is a partnership of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce’s Riverbird Research, Buncombe County, the City of Asheville, Land of Sky Regional Council, Explore Asheville, and the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC).

To respond to the survey, visit www.ashevillechamber.org/helenesurvey. All responses are confidential and reported only in aggregate. Respondents will have the option to enter a drawing for one of five $100 gift cards to a Western North Carolina restaurant of their choice, courtesy of the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce. The survey will be open through mid-May.
