Out of more than 6,000 applicants, only nine businesses were selected as semifinalists, placing Spice Witch among a small group of companies competing for national recognition, mentorship opportunities, and a share of $35,000 in prizes, along with a feature in Inc. Magazine.
Spice Witch produces bold, flavor driven chili oils and chili crisps designed to bring layered spice and depth to everyday cooking. What began as a few experimental jars has grown into a nationally distributed condiment brand now carried in shops and kitchens across the country.
Hill, a longtime creative entrepreneur and the daughter of a magician and a home cook, grew up around the idea that a little creativity can transform the ordinary into something memorable. That spirit carries through in Spice Witch products, which focus on complex spice blends and flavor first cooking rather than simply heat.
“I’ve always believed cooking should feel a little magical,” said Hill. “A spoonful of chili crisp or chili oil can completely transform a dish. Spice Witch is about helping people bring more creativity, flavor, and fun back into their kitchens.”
As part of the competition, public voting will help determine which brands move forward. Voting is open daily from March 15 through April 5, and supporters can vote once per day.
