The High Country Area Agency on Aging is pleased to welcome Emily Fortunato as our new Health Promotion Specialist. 

Fortunato is a graduate of Appalachian State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Music Therapy and a Master of Public Administration. She developed a passion for serving older adults during her time as a music therapy student and most recently while serving as the Rapid Rehousing Coordinator at OASIS, Inc.

Outside of work, Fortunato enjoys hiking, playing guitar and piano, and spending time with her cats and loved ones.
