A local graphic design firm is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

Carolina Blue Design Group, the firm owned by Sarah Maupin, began work in the area in 2011.

Maupin, who is the solo designer in the firm, is a Brevard College graduate who has worked with many local businesses. 

She moved back to the area from Maryland in 2008 to raise her children and do freelance work before starting Carolina Blue Design Group.

Some of her designs include the Fletcher (N.C.) town seal, the Christ School “Greenies” logo, the Town of Saluda (N.C.) logo, the N.C. Mountain State Fair logo, and work with the non-profits  Brother Wolf Animal Rescue and Blue Ridge Humane Society.
