The Southwestern Commission has been selected as one of 20 organizations statewide to receive $25,000 from the Duke Energy Foundation as part of a $500,000 investment to strengthen local economies and support small businesses across North Carolina.

Through this funding, the Commission will award grants of up to $5,000 to eligible small businesses in our region. Funds may be used for renovations, equipment or technology purchases, inventory, or other needs that help businesses grow and stay competitive.
