Village Wayside Bar & Grille Announces Return

The owners of a favorite Asheville eatery posted on Facebook Tuesday that it would return in 2026.
Village Wayside Bar & Grille, which was located in Asheville's Biltmore Village, is planning to reopen.
A Facebook post said: "After a year of reflection and resilience following the impact of Hurricane Helene, we are absolutely thrilled to announce our relocation to Grovewood Village, another historic gem nestled in North Asheville’s beautiful Grove Park neighborhood. While we don’t have an exact reopening date set yet, we are aiming for late winter 2026! Stay tuned…we can’t wait to share more details as they unfold!"
The note was signed: "With Love & Anticipation, Mark & Polly Harding" and listed 111 Grovewood Road as the new location.
