The Boone Area Chamber of Commerce recently earned a prestigious honor from the Carolinas Association Chamber of Commerce Executives (CACCE).

At the CACCE’s Annual Management Conference awards ceremony held on Thursday, October 30 at the Beach House Resort in Hilton Head Island, S.C., the Boone Area Chamber of Commerce was named the 2025 Outstanding Chamber of the Year, for a chamber with over 700 members.

The CACCE Outstanding Chamber of the Year Award focuses on acknowledging one or more significant achievements and/or accomplishments that a chamber has initiated, stimulated, and/or led in its respective service area at some point during the past 18 months. These achievements/accomplishments denote chamber activity that intentionally resulted in positive measurable results. Organizational excellence was evaluated in the areas of membership, programs, planning, and finance.

“This isn't just for the Boone Chamber, this is for anyone who has been through what we have been through,” said David Jackson, President/CEO, Boone Area Chamber of Commerce. “Whether you are on the east coast or in the west, you know what it is like to wake up and wonder what the day is going to bring. This award means a lot, thank you so much.”

CACCE is the professional development organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities for chamber of commerce executives and staff members in North Carolina and South Carolina. CACCE equips chamber of commerce professionals with leadership skills and tools to build innovative chambers.

The organization was formed in 1994 when the North Carolina and South Carolina state chamber associations merged. For more information on CACCE, or any of CACCE’s conferences or programs, contact Tiffany Fulmer Ott at (404) 312-0524.
