Preston’s combined passion for helping others and teaching is what led her to eventually choose a career in health care. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Atlantic Christian College in Wilson, NC, and continued on to receive her Master of Health Administration degree from Pfeiffer University. 

Preston is dedicated to working collaboratively with health care providers, patients and families to ensure that patients receive the highest-quality care, resources and support that promote ongoing and sustained whole-person care for every patient, every time. 

“Our team is empowered to assist our patient/families in a safe discharge plan that supports body/mind/spirit,” Preston explains. “We help navigate the complexities of health care to support positive patient outcomes and safe transitions of care. As you walk into AdventHealth, there is a genuine feeling of safety and trust as you encounter each and every team member within the hospital. They embody their mission of Extending the healing ministry of Christ in each interaction whether it is with a patient or team member and for that I am so excited to be a part of this organization!”

Preston and her husband have two adult daughters, and enjoy living in beautiful Western North Carolina, where her husband’s family has deep roots in the Appalachian Mountain community. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, especially her new granddaughter.
