The Animal Hospital at Reems Creek, in Weaverville, North Carolina, welcomes a new veterinarian to its growing medical team. Dr. Mary Robison joined the hospital on June 30. Having a passion to care for animals since youth, Dr. Robison graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. With her degree, she earned an ACVP (American College of Veterinary Pathology) Award of Excellence in Anatomic Pathology and a Dechra Award for Excellence in Dermatology.

Dr. Robison’s interest in veterinary medicine sparked when she began riding horses in
elementary school. She has since found further interest in small animal medicine - mainly
anatomic pathology, dermatology, ophthalmology, and infectious disease.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Robison enjoys running, tennis, hiking, and hanging out with her senior
dog, Sam. Dr. Mary Robison joins Dr. Ryan Hammonds and Dr. Jami Van Hemel in continuing to provide exceptional, compassionate care to the pets of Weaverville and surrounding areas.

“We are thrilled to have Dr. Robison join our team,” says The Animal Hospital at Reems Creek
team. “Her dedication to animals and compassionate communication with pet families make her a natural fit here. She shares our commitment to treating every pet like our own.”
