OnTrack Financial Counseling and Education (OnTrack WNC) has announced Rosanna Fox Mulcahy as the financial empowerment non-profit’s new Executive Director.

With over 20 years of experience in financial empowerment, inclusive economic development, and organizational management, Rosanna brings a deep understanding of how systems impact people’s daily lives — and how they can be reimagined to promote opportunity for all. A dynamic leader who is fluent in English and Spanish, Rosanna has a proven track record in program development, fiscal management, community engagement, and fundraising. As the new Executive Director of OnTrack WNC, Rosanna is excited to lead efforts to expand financial education, credit and housing support, and pathways to lasting financial stability for individuals and families in Western North Carolina.

“We are thrilled to welcome Rosanna Fox Mulcahy as our next Executive Director”, said April Brown, President of OnTrack WNC’s Board of Directors. “Her passion for financial empowerment, deep understanding of collective community impact, and thoughtful leadership style make her the right person to guide the agency into our next chapter. As an organization that has served Western North Carolina for over 50 years, and with our sights set on continuing that legacy for decades to come, the Board is confident in her ability to strengthen our organization from the inside out and to build impactful partnerships that advance our mission and expand our reach across Western North Carolina.”

Rosanna’s passion for this work is rooted in her own lived experience.  "I know firsthand how financial challenges can affect every part of our lives — our stability, dignity, and hope,” said Rosanna. “That’s why I’m deeply committed to OnTrack’s mission. I look forward to working with staff and community partners to expand access to financial empowerment so everyone in our community doesn’t just ‘get by’, but truly thrives.”

Prior to her new role leading OnTrack WNC, Rosanna served as the Program Manager for the National League of Cities. Her previous professional experience includes roles with the City of Asheville, Carolina Small Business Fund, Mountain BizWorks, and Buncombe County. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration from Montreat College. Rosanna lives in Weaverville with her family, which includes three wonderful dogs. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the natural beauty of her Western North Carolina home.
