TD Bank Appoints Demetrius Johnson Mid-South Metro Retail Market President

TD Bank announced that Demetrius Johnson has been promoted to Retail Market President of the Mid-South Metro, which includes Delaware, Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. As Retail Market President, Johnson will lead a team of six Retail Market Managers and oversee TD’s local retail operations at more than 125 stores and deepen customer relationships. He also will fine-tune market strategy to improve customer experiences while promoting team collaboration and coordination across the region. Johnson is based in Greenville, and in his new role, he will be very involved in WNC, especially the Asheville market.

Johnson joined TD in 2003 as part of the store team in Metro Pennsylvania/New Jersey and progressed into retail operations for three regions in that area. Most recently, he served as Regional Retail Operations Director of the Mid-South Metro, a position he held since 2019. Outside of his role at the bank, Johnson serves with the PGA of America REACH Foundation, Harvest Hope Food Bank in Greenville, United Way of Greenville County, Samaritan's Feet International in Charlotte and Charlotte Pride.
