Asheville Wine Tours has once again been recognized and nominated in the USA Today's 10BEST Readers' Choice award program as one of the nations top wine tour companies.
"This is a big deal for this region as we are up against tour companies from internationally recognized regions like Napa Valley and Sonoma in California as well as the Finger Lakes region of New York," wrote founder Ryan Watts in an email to WNC Business. "This is our 4th year of being recognized in this program, placing 7th on our first year, 5th on the second year, and 3rd last year. We are also the only North Carolina company to be recognized."

"The wine industry in North Carolina is a multi-billion dollar industry and supports thousands of jobs in the state," wrote Watts. "It is a growing industry and all exposure that the state receives is good for the entire region. If Asheville Wine Tours is able to place #1 on this list, it will bring considerable and well-deserved attention to the area further helping this industry grow and develop."
The contest runs until noon on Monday, July 21 with the winners being announced the following week. You are able to vote daily and can vote from each device you own (a desktop, laptop, phone).
