Four Seasons has been awarded a 2025 Gold Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health by Mental Health America (MHA). The Bell Seal is the nation’s preeminent certification, recognizing employers committed to creating mentally healthy workplaces.

MHA is the nation’s leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting mental health,
well-being, and illness prevention for all. MHA has spent decades researching mental health in the workplace and introduced the Bell Seal for Workplace Mental Health in 2019 to recognize
organizations that value and implement policies and practices that support employee mental
health and well-being.

The Bell Seal recognizes employer advances in workplace mental health by awarding Bronze,
Silver, Gold, and Platinum recognition. Only two in five employers meet the standards for Bell Seal
certification. Four Seasons underwent a rigorous evaluation of its policies and practices in four
areas: workplace culture, benefits, compliance, and wellness programs.

“Having good mental health support in the workplace is a crucial part of an employee’s
engagement and job satisfaction in their day to day work. Whether it’s with our generous paid
time off package, our Well-Care reimbursement benefit that employees can use toward self-care
services and products, or the free tele-counseling services that are available to all employees and members of their household, we are very intentional about increasing the accessibility and
affordability of mental health support for our staff and enhancing those benefits each year. I am so proud of Four Seasons for earning this achievement. It’s yet another way we show how we
support and care for our staff through the hard work they do each day,” says Lauren Purdy, Four
Seasons Vice President of Employee & Volunteer Solutions.

“Our team members do hard work with their whole heart each day, so it's important that each
employee feels supported. We recognize that each individual goes through different seasons in
their personal life while they continue providing quality care to patients and families. The Bell Seal
award demonstrates Four Seasons' commitment to promoting and supporting employee wellbeing which is key in delivering consistently trusted care. We genuinely care and seek to listen, learn, and lead with compassion and respect because providing the best care to our community starts with caring for our team internally. We are honored to receive this award in recognition of these  efforts,” says Dr. Millicent Burke-Sinclair, Ed.D, MBA, MLAS, SPHR®, SHRM SCP, Four Seasons President & CEO.
