AdventHealth is excited to celebrate National Osteoporosis Awareness and Prevention month by welcoming a new osteoporosis specialist Staci Boudreaux, PA-C, CCD, to the team at AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at Parkway, a hospital department of AdventHealth Hendersonville. Boudreaux is a board-certified physician assistant as well as certified in Clinical Densitometry. She will be leading AdventHealth’s new osteoporosis clinic focused on osteoporosis treatment, bone health and fracture prevention care.

Boudreaux received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She most recently served as the Fracture Prevention and Bone Health Clinic Coordinator at Mission Orthopedic Trauma where she provided osteoporosis diagnostics and treatment.

"I put a big emphasis on patient education, and I make sure patients understand what
their test results mean and the details of their treatment options,” explains Boudreaux. “By explaining things thoroughly to patients, they can make a more informed treatment decision.”

This comprehensive program is designed to support patients from diagnosis through treatment and fracture prevention education.

Boudreaux has been a Certified Clinic Densitometrist since 2009 and is participating in a pilot program to develop an Advanced Provider program for the American Society of Osteoporosis Providers. She is excited to join the team at AdventHealth Medical Group Multispecialty at Parkway to offer specialized osteoporosis care for our community across Western North Carolina.

Boudreaux and her family moved to Western North Carolina in 2021 from Southwest Louisiana. Her daughter is currently enjoying being a student at Western Carolina University. In her free time, Boudreaux enjoys finding fun new things to do on the weekends, reading, crafts and cross-stitching and finding new hiking trails.
