Margate Health & Rehab Center is now part of SanStone Health & Rehabilitation, a leading provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation services in North Carolina. The facility, formerly under different management, has joined the SanStone network, bringing decades of clinical expertise, personalized care, and community commitment to Jefferson and the surrounding region. As part of this exciting transition, the facility name will now be Margate Health & Rehabilitation.

“Our team finds pleasure in the camaraderie we experience while assisting in the communities we serve. Giving back to others is extremely important, and the relationships we develop from doing so provide us with a sense of well-being. Knowing we are not only caring for individuals within our nursing facilities, but for those in need within our communities, allows us to contribute to the overall success and prosperity of the community. Most people may not need skilled nursing care at this point in their life, but they might need a warm jacket, a hot meal, a roof over their head and we continue to make sure we’re giving back to assist in providing and volunteering for communities to help with all aspects of quality of life,” said Jennifer Robinson, President & CEO of Sanstone Health & Rehabilitation.

SanStone specializes in short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled nursing care, and support services designed to promote wellness, dignity, and independence. With a proven track record across the state, the organization is known for its high standards of care and strong ties to the communities it serves.

SanStone independently owns and operates 19 locations across North Carolina, from the mountains to the coast. Each SanStone location provides residents with exceptional care and rehabilitation services that help them recover confidently and live as independently as possible.
