MADE X MTNS Launches New Economic Analysis Tools

The MADE X MTNS team hosted a workshop in May, launching two new economic analysis tools - a Benefit-Cost Analysis Tool and Economic Impact Calculator. These tools have been created to support WNC communities in making the case for future outdoor investments.
County and/or municipal leaders can produce estimates on the number of trips or visitors that a new outdoor infrastructure project could generate, and plug that number into the tools to calculate impacts and benefits. This resource can be valuable in determining and directing investments in various outdoor recreation opportunities.
