Stephen Abel named YMCA Communications Director

Stephen Abel is the new Communications Director with the YMCA of Western North Carolina.
Previously working at YMCA from 2018 to 2021 in various marketing and communication roles including the Marketing and Communications Manager, Abel is also a former TV journalist. Most recently, Abel worked as a senior communications specialist for UPM Raflatac.
The new Communications Director role will comprise duties including overseeing all external and internal communications, including media relations, for the association.
