Womyn Rising Celebration

Artisan Market • Live Music • Community Gathering
Saturday, October 17 | 2–7 PM | FREE & open to everyone

Celebrate and support WNC’s incredible womyn-led creative community at Womyn Rising, featuring 40+ local artisans, makers, small businesses, nonprofits, and musicians. Enjoy live soul-roots music from Abby Bryant & her band, with bluegrass from Sunnie Rae, plus local food trucks, baked goods, drinks, and Hellbender’s bars. Explore handmade art and goods, connect with local organizations, relax in the Womyn’s Relaxation Area with massage, tarot, henna & more, or bring the kiddos for crafts, face painting, and fairy hair.

Created in the wake of Hurricane Helene as a way to uplift womyn-led makers, musicians, businesses, and nonprofits across our mountain communities, Womyn Rising is all about celebrating creativity, resilience, and community. Everyone is welcome — come shop local, enjoy the music, and show some love to the amazing womyn of WNC.
