The Chacon's were born and raised in Cuba. They came to United States in the early 70’s. After a little more than a decade Emanuel was born. He grew up on Authentic Cuban food, and Cuban Flavor. Having 2 brothers and 2 sisters he was blessed to be a part of a big family. Every morning they woke up to the smell of Cuban espresso, warm Cuban bread and on the weekends they were lucky to have sweet pastries. Emanuel's parents and family instilled the love of Cuban culture in him.

With food, music, and lots of family stories, he could picture the life his family spoke about. Although they loved South Florida, the Smoky Mountains were a great escape for the family. This was a great way for them to gather and enjoy Cuban food and music in a new place. As Emanuel got older his passion became learning how to cook the recipes passed down from generations. His mother taught him it’s not just the specific ingredients, it’s the passion and love that makes all the difference.
