The North Carolina Sustainable Energy Association (NCSEA) honored Pisgah Energy, an Asheville-based
commercial solar and energy storage firm, at its annual awards reception on Oct. 13 at Naos in Cary, NC.
The awards honor leaders, businesses, and advocates committed to advancing clean energy solutions statewide. The association selected award recipients from among its more than 300 members in six categories. The Sustainable Energy Business of the Year Award recognizes a business that has demonstrated professional excellence, uncompromising ethical standards, and made a lasting positive impact on the state’s clean energy economy. Pisgah Energy is receiving this honor for the second time in its seven-year history, the first in 2020, after only one year in operation.
“It goes without saying, but we wouldn’t be where we are today without our clients’ decision to use on-site solar energy. Whether municipal or industrial, they understand the value in lower energy bills, reduced emissions, and greater energy independence,” said Phelps Clarke, Pisgah Energy Vice President.
