Surgeon Trained in Asheville Returns to Western North Carolina to Join Mission Hospital

Marc O. Duverseau, MD, FACS, a board-certified general surgeon whose clinical focus includes hernia, colon and general surgery, has joined the Mission Hospital surgical team.
Dr. Duverseau completed general surgery training locally at the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) and at Mayo Clinic. He returns to Asheville after serving as a general surgeon at NMC Health Medical Center in Kansas.
