Wilsonart is celebrating its 70th anniversary. In 1956, Wilsonart began producing decorative laminate with just 45 employees, a single laminate press, and a 40,000-square-foot facility in Temple, Texas. In 1979, the company opened a manufacturing plant in Fletcher, NC.
