Yancey County Chamber of Commerce celebrated its Starry Night Gala at Burnsville Town Center last week, where it honored several people and organizations making a meaningful impact across Yancey County.

The 2026 award winners are as follows:

• Business of the Year: Prices Creek General Store

• Nonprofit of the Year: AMY Wellness Foundation

• Emerging Business of the Year: Birdfoot

• Community Impact Award: Rebuilding Hollers Foundation

Every recipient received a handblown paperweight as their award from Hearth Glass + Gallery.
