The WNC Build and Remodel Expo returns March 21–22, 2026, at the WNC Agricultural Center’s Davis Event Center, bringing together homeowners and local building professionals for a weekend focused on education, inspiration, and practical guidance.
Produced by the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains (BABRM), the Expo is designed to connect Western North Carolina homeowners with trusted local experts who can help answer questions at every stage of the homeownership journey.
“Home or garden projects don’t start with blueprints. They start with questions,” says Jessie Edington, Events Manager for BABRM. “The Expo gives homeowners direct access to local professionals who can help them understand what is possible and how to approach projects with confidence.”
The WNC Build and Remodel Expo takes place Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and
Sunday, March 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the WNC Agricultural Center’s Davis Event
Center in Fletcher. General admission is $10. $5 for seniors 65+, military, first responders, and
educators. Free for kids 12 and under. Ticket purchases cover entry for both days. Additional

What Homeowners Can Learn
Over the course of the weekend, the Expo offers homeowners practical takeaways and expert insight across every stage of the home improvement process, including:
● How to plan home improvement projects well. Professionals will be on-site to talk through ideas, budgeting, timelines, and feasibility. For example, foundation specialists like Mountain Valley Foundation Services can help explain how site conditions shape project planning, while experts with Pella Windows and Doors will be available to discuss how window choices affect comfort, energy efficiency, and long-term performance.
● Which materials and products make sense for Western North Carolina homes. Attendees can compare options side by side, whether it’s luxury vinyl and tile from Carpet One Floor & Home or garage doors from Fairview Door Sales, and speak directly with product experts about durability, maintenance, and value.● What maintenance tasks deserve priority. Companies such as LeafFilter Gutter Protection and Roof Maxx will be available to help homeowners understand preventative care strategies that can extend the life of key systems and reduce long-term repair costs.
● How to create outdoor spaces that last. Outdoor living specialists from companies like Legacy Decks can talk through decks, exterior lighting, and outdoor spaces designed for year-round use.
● How to choose the right local professionals. By meeting companies such as Semper Fi Custom Remodeling, Carolina Energy Systems, and Carolina Outdoor Lighting in person, homeowners can compare approaches, communication styles, and project philosophies before moving forward.
The 2026 Expo also highlights the creative and educational side of building.
Highlights include:
● The Designer Showcase debuts this year with styled interior vignettes created by local designers, offering homeowners inspiration and real-world design ideas.
● The “Pawrade of Homes” showcases student-built dog houses while highlighting workforce development and hands-on trades education.
● The Build Better Stage will host short, educational talks throughout the weekend, and a Makers Market will feature regional artisans and craftspeople connected to home and design.
