New Cocktail Bar Pinky Promise Opens in Hendersonville

Pinky Promise Bar, Hendersonville's first dedicated craft cocktail bar featuring an all-original menu, has officially opened its doors—bringing a fresh mix of creativity, flavor, and nostalgia to the local drinking scene.
Owned and designed by seasoned bartender and creative force Timmie Hoffman, Pinky Promise Bar is more than just a place to grab a drink—it’s an experience. Hoffman has spent years bartending and consulting all over the United States, including Florida, North Carolina, Chicago, and New Mexico, gathering inspiration, techniques, and flavor ideas along the way. She has worked alongside some of the best in the industry, created menus in collaboration with Michelin-starred chefs, helped incredible entrepreneurs build their visions, and taken home first place in multiple cocktail competitions.
Hoffman was also part of the opening team at Happy Accidents—owned by Kate Gerwin and Montana Blaze—where, during her time there, the bar earned both Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar and Best Bar Team. She also earned a coveted place among the World Class Top 100 bartenders.
The cocktail list at Pinky Promise is filled with playful names, unexpected ingredients, and artful presentations, from silky clarified creations to whimsical garnishes (think gummy bears on a toothpick or a cloud of foam topping a vibrant drink). A robust non-alcoholic cocktail menu ensures everyone can join the fun, alongside a small but well-curated selection of unique beers and wines.
The space itself is as distinctive as the drinks. Drawing inspiration from New Mexico artists, 1990’s and ’70s design, and street art, Hoffman transformed the bar’s interior herself—building out much of the space by hand, with help from her partner and family. The result is a colorful, funky, and welcoming environment that feels both retro and modern, perfect for sipping something unexpected.
“Our goal was to create a space that feels special, a little nostalgic, and totally unique to Hendersonville,” says Hoffman. “We wanted a menu where every cocktail has a personality, and the space to match. Most importantly, I want anyone and everyone to feel at home and welcomed here—I want people to leave feeling like family.”
