Hendersonville Dealer Randy Hunter to Lead North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association
Sep 03, 2024 09:57AM ● By WNC BusinessRALEIGH – The North Carolina Automobile Dealers Association announced the election of Randy Hunter with Hunter Automotive Group in Hendersonville as the association’s 2024-2025 Chairman of the Board. Hunter brings extensive experience and dedication to the role, continuing NCADA’s mission to support and advance the interests of franchised automobile, truck, and RV dealers and their customers throughout the state.
Hunter is the former Chairman of the Hunter Corporation’s Board of Directors and is currently the company’s Chief People Officer and Vice President. A graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Hunter is also a graduate of the National Automobile Dealers Association Dealer Academy.
Beginning his career with Hunter Corporation in 1984, Hunter has served in all departments of the company and has held several positions in the company’s automobile dealerships throughout the years, working through service, sales, and leadership positions within the organization. Hunter is also the immediate past Chairman of the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves on the Boys and Girls Club of Henderson County Executive Board and the Pardee Hospital Foundation Board. He is married to Alice Hunter, and they have three children, David Hunter and Harrison Hunter, who work for Hunter Automotive Group, and Bailey Williamson, along with two grandchildren. They are both active members of Saint James Episcopal Church in Hendersonville.
Hunter succeeds Alycia Kellum of Jacksonville, who served as NCADA’s 2023-2024 Chair. NCADA extends its heartfelt gratitude to Kellum for her dedicated service and significant contributions to NCADA.
NCADA also announced the election of the following additional NCADA officers for 2024-2025:
- Mr. Mark Fisher, LaFayette Ford, Fayetteville, NC – Treasurer
- Mr. Brad Tyson, Cloninger Ford, Hickory, NC – Secretary
This group of leaders will guide NCADA into the Association’s 90th year.
