Henderson County Education Foundation to Host Rock on for Education Event
Jul 15, 2024 09:34AM ● By WNC BusinessHENDERSONVILLE - The Henderson County Education Foundation announced an evening of live music, camaraderie, and charitable giving at "Rock on for Education," a special event sponsored by HCEF, Oklawaha Brewing, Southern Alarm and Security, and WTZQ. Admission is free and the event will take place on August 2 at Oklawaha Brewing, located at 147 1st Ave. E, Hendersonville. Thanks to the generosity of Oklawaha Brewing, a portion of all sales will be dedicated to benefit HCEF and the students and teachers of Henderson County Public Schools.
Southern Alarm and Security, is serving as the presenting sponsor for this event. As a thank you for helping HCEF make a difference in the lives of Henderson County's students and educators, the first 100 guests will receive a free commemorative pint cup.
The headliner, “After School Special”, will take the stage at 7:45 PM and ‘rock on’ through the night. “After School Special” is a band consisting of HCPS educators who are ready to rock the stage and entertain the crowd.
"Rock on for Education" will be a night filled with raffles, an array of fantastic swag, and live music. It's an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy a fun-filled evening, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of Henderson County's students and educators.
Join HCEF at Oklawaha Brewing on August 2 from 6:00 to 11:00 PM to "Rock on for Education." Attendance and support will directly impact the future of education in Henderson County.
