HENDERSONVILLE – AdventHealth has named Joseph McGovern, CHFM, as its new Director of Engineering in Hendersonville. McGovern is a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager with experience in managing multiple facilities, including off-site locations, and implementing strategic infrastructure growth processes and procedures.

McGovern most recently served as the Facilities Manager at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale in Hinsdale, IL. He started his career working as an HVAC technician, but once stepping into the health care landscape, he realized his calling to serve the community by providing safe, well-functioning facilities for patients and their families.

McGovern and his wife met in high school. They have four children under the age of 10. When he is not at work leading with compassion, McGovern feels whole by spending time with his family. Together, they all like to be outdoors and play.
