ArtsAVL to receive $75,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts

ASHEVILLE — ArtsAVL announced it has been approved by the National Endowment for the Arts for a Grants for Arts Projects award of $75,000. This grant will be regranted by ArtsAVL through the Grassroots Arts Program grant. In total, the NEA will award 1,135 Grants for Arts Projects awards totaling more than $37 million as part of its second round of fiscal year 2024 grants.

ArtsAVL’s Grassroots Arts Program grant also receives support from the North Carolina Arts Council (a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources), and Buncombe County Government. Since 1977, the GAP grant has provided programmatic and operating support for nonprofit arts organizations in Buncombe County. The next grant cycle opens in August. Learn more at ArtsAVL.org/GAP.
