ASHEVILLE - Roberts & Stevens announced that attorney Benjamin H. Van Steinburgh has joined the firm as an associate attorney. Van Steinburgh’s legal practice at Roberts & Stevens is concentrated on medical malpractice and insurance defense. 

Originally from Connecticut, Van Steinburgh received a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and a Juris Doctor from Campbell University School of Law. Before relocating to Asheville in 2024 with his wife and four children, Van Steinburgh spent more than a decade practicing in Raleigh, litigating cases in courtrooms across North Carolina. 

Focusing on assessing risks and managing the challenges providers and insurers face every day, Van Steinburgh joins a team of professionals with decades of experience in medical malpractice defense and litigation.
