Local businesses partner to support local nonprofit

Mar 18, 2024 01:24PM ● By WNC Business
Kimberly Walker, of CoveStar Advisors a local commercial real estate firm has partnered with Katherine Morosani of Edwards Jones to collect vases to prepare for the next Bouquet Day with the local nonprofit Random Acts of Flowers - Asheville.

In a world that often seems to prioritize speed and efficiency over human connection, organizations like Random Acts of Flowers serve as a reminder of the power of compassion and kindness.

Through their innovative approach of repurposing recycled flowers donated from locals such as Biltmore, Grove Park Inn, Publix, and many others,

RAF not only brings beauty to healthcare facilities, but also delivers encouragement and personal moments of kindness to individuals facing challenging circumstances like an injury, illness, aging, or simply being alone.

Please bring your unused/unwanted vases during office hours to the Edward Jones Office of Katherine Morosani located in Gerber Village (next to Cantina Louie, Little Gym, and Wildbirds) at 10 Crispin Ct #D-101, Asheville, NC 28803. Please call 828-793-4310 before arrival.

Vases will be collected through April, and no vase will be turned away.

If you would like to volunteer to help create Bouquets for Bouquet Day on April 2, click RAFAsheville.org or email [email protected] with a note that Kimberly Walker sent you. No floral arrangement experience is necessary.
