Emily Cole joins AdventHealth cardiology team

HENDERSONVILLE – AdventHealth welcomes Emily Cole, MPAS, PA-C to its team at AdventHealth Medical Group Cardiology at Medical Office Building*. Cole is a certified physician assistant who will is providing patient-centered care alongside AdventHealth’s board-certified cardiologists.

Cole earned a dual bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and Spanish from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in Greensboro, NC. She then went on to earn her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. 

Cole keeps her patients at the center of the evidence-based care she provides. She focuses on encouraging a healthful lifestyle for patients. She helps her patients achieve their health and lifestyle goals and works to be an advocate for patients on their health care journey. 

“My approach to my patients is to use the most up-to-date, evidence-based practices to offer patients the greatest access to wellness possible,” Cole says. “This particularly includes methods of preventive and lifestyle medicine. I have a particular passion for helping patients incorporate both into their everyday life. In the past, my patients have made incredible strides in their wellness journeys, translating into better quality of life for themselves and their families.”

Cole believes one of the most powerful ways to ensure patients feel whole is by listening to them and building trusting relationships. Making her patients feel heard and involved in their health care translates to effective symptom management and treatment with long-lasting positive outcomes.

Cole is married with four young children. She enjoys spending time with her family, staying active by running/biking or swimming, and quilting.
