Friends of Panthertown opens Sylva office
Oct 25, 2023 05:41PM ● By WNC BusinessOn Wednesday, October 25, the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Team held a grand opening/ribbon cutting ceremony for their members at Friends of Panthertown. They opened the doors on their new location at 116 Central Street in Sylva.
The Friends of Panthertown crew hosted a campfire and encouraged everyone to make s'mores. Snacks, drinks on tap, tours of the new facility were available for attendees.
The Friends of Panthertown is a non-profit organization, whose mission is to work in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service to conserve this outstanding natural resource while improving the quality and experience of recreational opportunities in Panthertown Valley.
