A new website for both dislocated workers and employers looking to hire is now online. The photo above is a screenshot of the landing page of the site and showcases the options open for individuals who are impacted by economic conditions – they can find a new occupation, field or trade, research how to go back to school, earn degrees or certifications, and even get career coaching.

The National Dislocated Worker Grant for WNC website also offers financial incentives for employers to provide on-the-job training for dislocated workers.

The Southwestern Commission encourages individuals to share the site with people or organizations you know who can benefit from this information.
