Asheville Young Professionals announces launch as an organization

Asheville - AYPROS(Asheville'sYoungProfessionals) is excited to announce its launch as an organization dedicated to providing community, engagement, and professional development opportunities for young professionals in Asheville. Join us on June 9th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the prestigious Country Club of Asheville for our official kickoff event.
AYPROS aims to attract and retain young talent, fostering a vibrant community where professionals can thrive. The event promises an unforgettable evening of networking and celebration. Arrive early to enjoy the full open bar from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, followed by a cash bar.
Throughout the evening, indulge in delicious heavy appetizers while DJ Tony Z sets the mood with electrifying beats.
One of the highlights is the chance to meet our founding members and apply to become a leader of one of our five dynamic crews:
●Arts & Entertainment: strengthens Asheville's creative vitality by supporting local arts, music, film, and sports organizations.
●Business Development: focuses on professional and vertical networking, raising awareness of the city's diverse business ecosystem, and supporting regional economic development.
●Government & Policy: advocates for young professionals' interests in the public sector and drives positive change in local government.
●Health & Fitness: emphasizes exploring Asheville's natural beauty, recreational opportunities, and prioritizing health and wellness of they oung professional.
●Leadership & Service: makes a positive impact through volunteerism, leadership development, and community service.
●Tech & Digital: fosters collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and skill development in areas such as software development, digital marketing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and more.
AYPROS welcomes individuals aged 18 to 40 who seek community and engagement in Asheville. Our inclusive organization represents professionals from diverse industries, including food and beverage, healthcare, design, technology, and more.
Membership options include a free basic tier and an annual fee membership, offering additional perks such as free access to ticketed programs and early VIP event access.
AYPROS is proud to be an initiative of Hatchworks Coworking, Asheville's most popular coworking space. Notable young professional founding members include Maggie Ullman, founder of Ullman Consulting; Lauren Flickinger, principal of Hatteras Venture Partners; Martin Moore, Attorney; Erika Gifford, co-owner of Hatchworks Coworking; and Fabi Pina, founder of Smash Ventures.
AYPROS empowers young professionals to become agents of change through several initiatives aimed at making Asheville an extraordinary place for them. "Geton Board" facilitates placements of vetted professionals on city boards, while the "Beer City Awards" serves as our annual fundraiser, providing grants for local businesses.
