B Lab has announced that the B Impact Assessment, the tool used for certification will undo extensive changes sometime in 2024. This will be the most extensive overhaul of the certification requirements since B Corp certification was launched in 2006. The changes are aimed to update, clarify, and streamline the assessment while also ensuring the certification remains a strong standard into the future. 

Those already certified will continue to receive information from B Lab on the proposed changes including feedback opportunities.

We encourage companies currently work on certification or who are considering certification to complete the current version of the assessment and submit for review.

Just launched! The first ever course from B Lab on B Corp certification and the B Corp community. This is a great addition to new employee onboarding for existing B Corps, a comprehensive overview for those new to the certification and it's completely free. New Standards Learning Sessions
A well respected B Corp consultancy, Cultivating Capital, as launched a monthly workshop to explore the themes of the revised B Impact Assessment (coming in 2024).  Prior sessions have been recorded and are available. In true B Corp community fashion, Cultivating Capital is offering these sessions free of charge and they are open to the public. Registration required.
