Shay Brown Events Management announces rebranding
Feb 02, 2023 03:02PM ● By WNC BusinessFounder & Owner Shay Brown launched her wedding planning and design business 23 years ago with a commitment to deeply understand each client’s vision and to tailor events to reflect the unique character of each personality and celebration. Since launching in 2000 Brown has significantly grown her team, expanded planning and production offerings to include festivals like Chow Chow and CiderFest NC, and opened a venue management branch of the business that currently works with nine privately owned venues in the Asheville area.
“It’s so exciting to be stepping into this next phase of our company’s growth,” shares Brown. “The organization has outgrown what one person can do, and we have an all-star team already stepping into more leadership responsibilities and strategic planning.”
Shay & Company was selected as the new name to highlight the company’s commitment to inclusivity and connection.
“We love working with all kinds of clients, creating all kinds of offerings, and bringing all kinds of talent together to create one-of-a-kind experiences. The ampersand in our logo is a nod to that commitment,” says Brown.
Shay & Company’s expansion plans for 2023 are robust and include new festival production clients, new venue management clients, and increasing planning services for weddings, social events, and non-profits in the Asheville area.
