HENDERSONVILLE – AdventHealth welcomes Laura Maure, CPC, CMA to her new role as Physician Services Director for AdventHealth Hendersonville. Maure has been part of the AdventHealth team since 2019, most recently serving as Practice Manager at AdventHealth Medical Group Obstetrics & Gynecology at Medical Office Building.

AdventHealth Hendersonville’s Physician Services Directors oversee the nearly 30 primary and specialty care service lines within AdventHealth Medical Group. Maure is excited to have the opportunity to support team members and providers at she steps into this new leadership role at several of the AHMG family practice locations and specialty practices.

Maure’s career in the medical field started as a practice assistant at a medical practice in Brookline, MA and she steadily progressed to her role as Practice Manager, and now Director of Physician Services with AdventHealth. Maure earned her bachelor’s degree in music with a focus in Music Performance from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and went on to earn her master’s degree in Music Performance from Boston University in Boston, MA.

Maure is committed to creating a workplace that is supportive and flexible for her team. She is passionate about employee retention and engagement and works diligently to improve people’s lives through workplace satisfaction.

“I am here to help,” Maure explains, “I believe it is important in our leadership roles at AdventHealth to remain in a servant leadership mindset. This mindset benefits our team members and our patients and keeps us humble.”

Maure and her husband, Alec, have lived in Western North Carolina for three years and have a cat named Jim. She enjoys coffee, hiking, reading, and music.
