Mountain Area Workforce Development Board, a department of Land of Sky Regional Council, oversees a single, comprehensive strategic plan for the four-county area by meeting the workforce needs of local employers and job seekers. Their budget approaches $2.5 million annually, and they allocate those funds for workforce development and training in the four-county area.
