Beginning February 7, 2023, the Small Business and Technology Development Center will offer a free four week long cohort, Taking The Leap, in which participants will learn about different aspects of starting a business including identifying potential markets, writing a business plan, running the finances of a business, and marketing a business.

Taking the Leap is ideal for aspiring entrepreneurs with a business idea they'd like to bring to life or existing sole proprietors that would like to focus and formalize their business and goals.

The seminar outline includes:

• Week 1 - The Voice of Your Customer
• Week 2 - A Plan for Success - Develop Your Business Model
• Week 3 - Cash is King
• Week 4 - Pitch Night! - Marketing Your Business and Celebrating Your Business Launch

Students have the chance to network with their peers, creating new connections and insights from their collaboration.

Classes will take place online on Tuesdays between Feb 7 - 28, 2023, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
