April Brown, former Director of Industry Recruitment and Expansion, said that she is thrilled to share her new position as the Asheville Market Executive at Bank of America. 

"As the Market Executive, I am responsible for driving the local market strategy, leading Bank of America's community engagement and outreach efforts, and deploying Bank of America's resources to address social and economic challenges and build strong communities in Western North Carolina," Brown said. "I am so proud of the last five years working with the award winning Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce and I will miss working the amazing Chamber staff. It has been a pleasure working with excellent leadership and colleagues who have been instrumental in building my confidence as a leader and encouraging my creativity and professional growth. In particular, I would like to thank Clark Duncan for seeing what I can bring to a team and cultivating my strengths. Thanks to everyone who has offered their support during this transition."
