AdventHealth is honored to have the NC Department of Health and Human Services’ approval to build a new hospital to expand the choices for health care in Western North Carolina.

AdventHealth thanks the people of Western North Carolina who shared their overwhelming support for our proposal to build this new community hospital. 

The power of the community voice was demonstrated through the support of community leaders including County Commissions, Sheriffs, Emergency Services, and especially the people of all four counties that make up the service area for this new hospital. In addition, AdventHealth received more than 4,000 letters of support from these government and community leaders as well as people who call these counties home.
