This December marks the fifth annual Venture 15 and Venture Asheville Honors. 

The Venture 15 awards the 15 fastest-growing Asheville-area startups. This event recognizes the area’s outstanding entrepreneurs, and serves as an elite setting where they can share their talent and wisdom as well as offer inspiration to other fledgling companies to be part of this exclusive group.

Startups are measured by their Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR), using year-end revenues. This is a valuable measurement to view a venture’s growth rate over time, and allows us to use one metric to compare all ventures.

Every year the event gets bigger, the rankings get more competitive, and the quality of applications increases. If you are new to Asheville - this is the party of the year for startups. Venture Asheville publish and rank the 15 fastest growing startups, we honor mentors, investors, founders, and more. We also award the Best Startup to Work For.

Deadlines:

• Venture 15 rankings must be submitted by November 21, 2022
• Best Startup to Work For must be submitted by November 27, 2022
• Honors Awards must be submitted by November 27, 2022.

Categories include:

• Mentor of the Year - who is, or has, impacted a high-growth venture to an exceptional degree?
• Investor of the Year - who's brought more than cash value.
• Entrepreneur of the Year - a founder leading a sky rocketing high growth venture who not only is making it rain, but also is a community leader.
• Resource of the Year - which program or organization is producing the highest potential high growth ventures?
• Shining Rock Award - who deserves the recognition and elevated status the award brings to one day be the entrepreneur of the year?
