The annual Asheville Entrepreneurship Week is back with a series of events that allow small businesses to learn, network, and present their start-ups with like-minded members of the community.

With opportunities that inspire the local business community to do what they do even better, there is no doubt that participants will benefit from the educational presentations, workshops, and events scheduled throughout the week.

Monday, September 12 - The kickoff to Asheville Entrepreneurship Week consists of city announcements followed by lunch with a showcase of Black Wall Street’s entrepreneurs during a show-and-tell series.

Tuesday, September 13 - The Corporate Entrepreneurship Series discusses how values can lead to innovative organizations, and features guest speaker Ana Pinheiro Privette, the Global Lead for Amazon Sustainability Data Initiative at UNCA’s Highsmith Union.

Wednesday, September 14 - A double dose of networking, 1 Million Cups and Hatch Innovation Hub offers start-ups a chance to present their ideas to local community members in the morning. The same evening, community entrepreneurs meet at Harvest Pizzeria for sharing food, drinks, and ideas.

Thursday, September 15 - Wrong Way Campground’s founder not only shares his space by hosting the event, but also shares his start-up story with a live taping of Venture Asheville’s podcast Talking ‘Ship.

Friday, September 16 - Also taking place at Hatch Innovation Hub, local investors answer a multitude of questions in “Everything You Wanted to Ask an Investor but Were Too Afraid.” The Q&A session and Entrepreneurship Week concludes with a happy hour celebration.
