Land of Sky Regional Council will be hosting Construction Career Day 2024 on April 29 – May 1 at the Smoky Mountain Event Center in Waynesville. Around 1,000 high school students from 18 public school systems plus other K12 schools will learn about construction careers over the two days. More than 50 construction firms will be participating.

This event is funded 100% with private funds through sponsorships. Last year, LOSRC raised about $35,000 to support this event. This year, they will need to raise over $40,000 to account for more students and increased costs. Attached is a sponsorship flyer and a “save the date “flyer.
