BRCC shares annual report

HENDERSONVILLE – On Feb. 9, Blue Ridge Community College announced the release of its 2022-23 annual report  titled “Momentum – A Year in Motion.” The latest report includes information about the College’s new and growing programs, student experiences, financial and donor information, awards and other key successes in serving the Western North Carolina community.

Presented by the office of Blue Ridge’s president, Dr. Laura B. Leatherwood, the momentum-themed report follows a season of historic year-over-year enrollment and graduation figures. It also discusses the addition of several programs critical to strengthening the state and regional workforce, including artificial intelligence, civil engineering technology, environmental engineering technology, medical office administration, practical nursing, respiratory therapy, entrepreneurship and the elementary education residency certificate.

The new report also includes a statement from the executive director of Blue Ridge’s Educational Foundation, Trina Stokes, as she credits community supporters and donors for their role in Blue Ridge’s record-breaking year of performance.
