Boutique hotel undergoes renovations, new ownership

Nestled in the heart of Black Mountain, North Carolina, a 1936 Georgian Revival Home is being given new life. Formerly known as the Wild Hare Event Venue, this historic property will soon become Peri Social House, a public coffee shop and bar that also houses North Carolina’s soon-to-be smallest boutique hotel.
“Peri” means mountain dweller - so whether it’s local Black Mountain residents or visitors just passing through, the owners want this old Georgian house to be called 'home'.
About Peri Social House:
Peri Social House is being rehabbed by husband and wife duo, Trevor and Kathryn Rudisill. Inspired by the lifestyle of Southeast Asia, the Hospitality of Eastern Europe, and the Work Ethic of Africa, the owners hope to share the favorite parts of their worldwide travels with their guests through our new endeavor in Black Mountain.
